Carefully remove the label from the can of sweetened condensed milk. Place the can on its side in a pressure cooker.

Add enough water to the pressure cooker to completely submerge the can. Ensure the water level is at least 1 inch above the top of the can.

Close the pressure cooker according to the manufacturer's instructions. Bring the pressure cooker to high pressure and cook for 35 minutes.

After 35 minutes, remove the pressure cooker from the heat. Allow the pressure to release naturally. Do NOT attempt to open the pressure cooker until all pressure has been released.

Once the pressure has fully released, carefully open the pressure cooker. Using tongs, remove the hot can from the water and place it on a heat-safe surface to cool completely. This cooling process can take at least 40 minutes.

Once the can is completely cool to the touch, open it with a can opener. The sweetened condensed milk will have transformed into a rich, creamy dulce de leche, also known as Fanguito.

Serve the Fanguito as a topping for desserts, with fruit, or simply by the spoonful.
