Combine the frozen mixed berries, unsweetened almond milk, frozen banana, and chia seeds in a blender.

If using, add honey or maple syrup for added sweetness. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk, 1/4 cup at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.

Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
