Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a large baking sheet with olive oil.

In a large bowl, mash the steamed broccoli florets and boiled potatoes together until mostly smooth. A few small lumps are okay!

Add the shredded cheddar cheese, flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed broccoli and potatoes. Mix everything together really well until it forms a dough-like mixture.

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a small tot-shaped cylinder or a fun little ball. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.

Bake the tot poppers for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. They're extra yummy with a side of ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce!
