Place the roughly chopped fresh garlic cloves into a tall, narrow container suitable for an immersion blender, such as a glass jar.

Add the salt to the garlic in the container.

Pour the lemon juice into the container.

Carefully add the vegetable oil on top of the other ingredients in the container.

Insert an immersion blender into the container, pushing it down to the very bottom, ensuring the blade is fully submerged and covering all the ingredients.

Blend the mixture at the bottom of the container continuously for 3 minutes without moving the blender.

After 3 minutes, slowly begin to move the immersion blender upwards a little, then blend again. Continue this process, gradually moving the blender up the container, repeating the blending motion until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined and the mixture transforms into a thick, white, and fluffy spread.

Once blended to the desired consistency, transfer the Toum to a serving bowl or an airtight container for storage. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month.
