Prepare the cooked white rice according to package directions or your preferred method. Keep warm.

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the sliced yellow onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes, or until softened and translucent.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 1 minute until fragrant.

Open the can of Palm corned beef. Divide the corned beef into two portions: approximately 2/3 for the gravy and 1/3 for the patties. Add the larger portion (about 8 ounces) of corned beef to the skillet with the onions and garlic. Use a spoon to break up the corned beef into smaller pieces.

Pour 1 1/2 cups of water into the skillet. Stir in the soy sauce, granulated sugar, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency. Set aside and keep warm.

While the gravy is simmering, take the remaining 1/3 portion (about 4 ounces) of corned beef. Divide it into 4 equal parts and gently form each part into a patty shape. Do not overwork the corned beef.

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a separate large skillet or on a griddle over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the corned beef patties onto the skillet. Using a spatula, smash each patty down firmly to create a crispy exterior. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and crispy.

In the same skillet or another clean skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Crack the 4 eggs into the skillet and fry them sunny-side up until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes.

To assemble each Kaleve Pisupo Loco Moco, place a generous scoop of hot cooked rice on a plate. Top the rice with one corned beef smashburger patty.

Ladle a generous amount of the warm Kaleve Pisupo gravy over the patty and rice. Finally, crown the dish with a fried sunny-side up egg.

Garnish with freshly chopped green onions and serve immediately.
