In a bowl, combine the warm milk, powdered sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.

In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt.
Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 10–12 minutes until it is smooth, soft, and slightly tacky.

Cover the dough and let it rise for 1–1 1/2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Roll the dough out to about 1 cm thick and use a small round cutter (about the size of a bottle cap) to cut out circles.

For Deep Frying: Heat oil over a low-medium flame. Fry the donut holes, turning occasionally, until they’re golden brown and crisp.

For Air Frying: Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Lightly brush or spray the donut holes with oil and air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.

Drizzle generously with chocolate sauce and enjoy!
