Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Line a rectangular baking pan, approximately 26cm x 16cm (10.2 x 6.3 inches), with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

Add the smooth peanut butter, egg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas.

Whisk the mixture until it is smooth and well combined.
Stir in the baking powder, rolled oats, chopped dark chocolate, and a pinch of sea salt. Use a spatula to mix these ingredients into the batter until just combined.

Transfer the batter into the prepared lined baking pan using a spatula and spread it evenly across the pan.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Allow the slice to cool completely in the pan before attempting to slice it. This will take approximately 20 minutes.

Once cooled, use a serrated knife to slice the oat slice into 12-16 servings.

Store the finished slice in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
