Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add the 200 grams of minced beef to the pan. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika.

Break up the minced beef by chopping it with a metal scraper and folding it back on itself in the pan. Continue cooking until the beef has started to brown.

Once the beef has started to brown, add 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1/2 finely chopped white onion, and 1 finely chopped green chilli or jalapeño. Continue cooking and chopping the mixture until the beef has started to caramelize and brown.

Add the 1 cup of grated tasty cheese (cheddar) to the beef mixture and chop it through until melted and well combined.

Once the cheese is melted and combined, place 3 American cheese slices on top of the beef mixture. Cover the pan with a lid to melt the cheese slices.

Take one of the thawed spring onion pancakes. While it's still in its plastic packaging, gently roll it out with a rolling pin, focusing on thinning the edges slightly.

Remove the pancake from its packaging. Drizzle kewpie mayo in a circular pattern in the center of the rolled-out pancake, followed by a drizzle of ketchup (tomato sauce) over the mayo.

Place one American cheese slice on top of the sauces, then place one slice of tomato on top of the cheese slice.

Spoon half of the prepared chopped cheese mixture onto the center of the pancake.

Fold the edges of the pancake back on itself into the center, pinching firmly to seal the filling inside. Gently roll out the folded pancake again to ensure it is extra sealed.

Repeat steps 7-11 for the second pancake.

In a clean pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat for frying.

Place an assembled pancake into the hot oil, seal side down first. Fry, flipping as needed, until all sides are golden and crispy.

Remove the cooked pancake and repeat for the second pancake. Serve immediately and enjoy!
