In a medium-sized bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, mustard, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili flakes, and dried oregano. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a spoon or spatula until the chicken is evenly coated and the filling is well combined.

Take two slices of bread for one sandwich. Spread a generous amount of the prepared chicken filling evenly on one side of each bread slice. For each sandwich, place one cheese slice on top of the chicken filling on one bread slice, and another cheese slice on top of the chicken filling on the second bread slice. Carefully combine the two bread slices, with the filling and cheese facing inwards, to form a sandwich.

Heat a large non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the hot pan for the first sandwich. Once the butter is melted and sizzling, place one assembled sandwich in the pan. Toast for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, pressing down gently with a spatula, until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.

Remove the toasted sandwich from the pan and set it aside. Repeat step 3 for the remaining three sandwiches, adding 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan for each new sandwich.

Once all sandwiches are cooked, cut each one in half diagonally before serving. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
