Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F). Line a brownie tin with parchment paper.

Add the drained and rinsed black beans to a blender.

Break the peeled bananas into pieces and add them to the blender.

Crack the large eggs and add them to the blender.

Pour the pure maple syrup into the blender.

Add the cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt to the blender.

Blend all ingredients until a smooth, thick batter is formed. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed to ensure everything is fully incorporated.

Pour the blended batter into the prepared brownie tin, spreading it evenly.

If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the tin before cutting into 9 squares.

Before serving, dust with Monkfruit icing sugar if desired.
