Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

Begin by removing the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs. This can be done by sliding a knife under the membrane at one end and then pulling it off with a paper towel for better grip.

Generously season both sides of the ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, and cumin. Ensure an even coating.

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil, ensuring no gaps for steam to escape.

Place the wrapped ribs in the preheated oven and bake for 3 hours.

While the ribs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and honey in a 1:1:1 ratio (e.g., 1/2 cup of each). Stir until well combined.

After 3 hours, carefully remove the ribs from the oven. Unwrap the foil and drain any excess liquid that has accumulated in the foil.

Generously brush the prepared sauce mixture over both sides of the ribs.

Return the sauced ribs to the oven (unwrapped) and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is visibly caramelized and slightly sticky.

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Slice the ribs between the bones and serve immediately.
