Add the lemon juice, caster sugar, eggs, and melted butter to a microwave-safe bowl.

Whisk all ingredients together really well until the mixture is smooth and thoroughly combined.

Allow the lemon curd to cool slightly at room temperature before covering and transferring to the refrigerator.
