Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 stick

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 4 cups vegetable oil, for frying
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Dark Chocolate Ganache
- 6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Strawberry Topping
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Prepare the churro dough: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring until the butter is melted.
