Pat the king prawns dry with a paper towel. In a medium bowl, season the prawns with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter is melted, add the diced shallots and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and diced bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers start to soften.

Pour in the water and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning and the vegetable stock. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.

Stir in the double cream and black pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce gently simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

Add the cooked pasta and the cooked prawns to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta and prawns are well coated. Serve immediately.
