In a large mixing bowl, combine the 16 ounces of tomato sauce and 6 ounces of tomato paste. Stir well until thoroughly incorporated.

Add the 2 tablespoons of dried oregano, 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar to the tomato mixture.

Add red pepper flakes to taste. Start with a small amount and add more if you prefer a spicier sauce.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a spoon or whisk until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the sauce. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.

Prepare your canning jars and lids according to manufacturer's instructions. Ladle the prepared pizza sauce into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/2 inch of headspace.

Wipe jar rims clean, center lids on jars, and apply screw bands until fingertip tight. Process the jars in a boiling water canner for 35 minutes, adjusting for altitude if necessary.

Once processing is complete, carefully remove jars from the canner and place them on a towel-lined surface to cool completely for 12-24 hours. Check seals before storing.
