Mince the 2 garlic cloves.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the pan with the olive oil and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the 250 grams of spaghetti to the boiling water.

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente.

While the spaghetti cooks, add 1 cup of heavy cream to the pan with the sautéed garlic.

Stir the cream and garlic together.

Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon into the pan with the sauce.

Stir the sauce to combine the lemon juice.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the pan.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to the pan.

Stir the sauce again, allowing it to gently simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.

Using tongs, transfer the cooked spaghetti directly from the pot to the sauce pan, allowing a little pasta water to cling to the noodles.

Add 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese to the pan with the spaghetti and sauce.

Stir the spaghetti, sauce, and cheese until well combined and the pasta is evenly coated.

Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy lemon garlic spaghetti.
