Prepare the vegetables: Wash and peel the potatoes and carrots. Cut the potatoes into 1-inch chunks and the carrots into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Wash the tomatoes and quarter them. Peel the onions and cut them into quarters. Cut each sweet corn cob into 2-inch rounds.

Wash the chicken drumsticks thoroughly under cold running water. Place the chicken drumsticks, prepared potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, onions, and sweet corn into a large soup pot or Dutch oven.

Pour enough water into the pot to fully cover all the ingredients, approximately 8 cups. Bring the soup to a rolling boil over high heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer gently for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is very tender and the vegetables are soft.

Stir in the salt, chicken powder, and white pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Ladle the Childhood Favourite ABC Soup into bowls and serve warm.
