Heat 1/4 cup of coconut oil in a frying pan. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the marinated fish into the pan. Fry the fish until it is golden brown and cooked through on both sides.

For the Thoran: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup chopped cabbage, 1 cup chopped beans, 1/2 cup grated coconut, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 green chili, and 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds with 1/4 cup water.

Heat a generous amount of coconut oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, dry red chilies, curry leaves, and chopped small onions. Sauté until fragrant.

Add the cabbage and beans mixture to the pan. Add salt to taste. Cover and cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
