Rehydrate the dried wakame for 5 minutes in water. After rehydrating, drain the water thoroughly and squeeze out as much excess water as possible from the wakame.

Chop the rehydrated wakame into bite-sized pieces.

Finely chop the spring onions.

Add the chopped wakame, chopped spring onions, toasted sesame seeds, gochujang, mirin, and grated garlic clove to a bowl. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.

Optionally, drizzle with sesame oil if a richer flavor is desired.

Optionally, add extra chili if a super spicy taste is preferred.
