In a large mixing bowl, empty the contents of the Jell-O vanilla instant pudding mix. Add 1 cup of milk to the pudding mix. Stir with a spatula until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream. Add the powdered sugar. Using an electric hand mixer, whip the cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, creating whipped cream.

Gently fold the prepared whipped cream into the vanilla pudding mixture until well combined. This mixture forms the Boston Cream filling.

Take each Hawaiian sweet roll and, using a small knife or spoon, carefully hollow out the center to create a cavity for the filling.

Transfer the Boston Cream filling into a makeshift piping bag (a large Ziploc bag with one corner snipped off). Pipe the filling generously into the hollowed-out Hawaiian sweet rolls.

Open the container of chocolate fudge frosting. Microwave the frosting for approximately 12 seconds, or until it is melted and dippable. Stir well.

Dip the cream-filled top of each Hawaiian roll into the melted chocolate frosting to create the signature Boston cream topping. Allow the chocolate to set slightly before serving, or serve immediately.
