In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with flour, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper until evenly coated.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Add half of the chicken in a single layer and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 4-6 minutes. Remove the chicken to a plate and repeat with the remaining chicken, adding 1 tablespoon more olive oil if needed. Set all browned chicken aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add the Italian sausage to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain off any excess fat, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the pot.

Add the chopped onion and red bell pepper to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and Calabrian chili paste. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the liquid has reduced slightly.

Stir in the chicken broth, diced tomatoes (undrained), halved cherry tomatoes, fresh rosemary, and fresh oregano. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Return the browned chicken to the pot. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Stir in the red wine vinegar. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving. Serve hot, perhaps with crusty bread or polenta.
