Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and diced onion to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is softened and translucent.

Add the diced ham to the pan and continue to cook with the garlic and onion for another 2-3 minutes, until the ham is lightly browned.

Push the ingredients to one side of the pan. Pour the whisked eggs into the empty space and scramble them. Once cooked, mix the scrambled eggs with the other ingredients in the pan.

Add the cold cooked white rice to the pan with the scrambled mixture. Break up any clumps of rice with your spatula.

Pour the soy sauce evenly over the ingredients in the pan.
