In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Whisk to combine.

Add the warm water and 4 1/2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix with a spoon or a stand mixer with a dough hook until a shaggy dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a small amount of additional gluten-free flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.

Lightly grease a clean bowl with olive oil. Place the dough in the bowl, turning once to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for 45-60 minutes, or until doubled in size.

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. In a medium bowl, combine the room temperature nondairy butter, chopped parsley, and Italian herbs. Squeeze the soft flesh from the roasted garlic clove into the bowl. Add the nondairy Parmesan cheese. Stir all the filling ingredients together until well combined and creamy.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a square baking dish (approximately 8x8 or 9x9 inches) with parchment paper.

Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down. Lightly flour a clean work surface with gluten-free flour. Transfer the dough to the floured surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out into a large, thin rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the flattened dough into three wide strips, approximately 3-4 inches wide.

Take one of the wide dough strips and spread about one-third of the prepared garlic herb filling evenly over its entire surface using a spatula or the back of a spoon, leaving a small border on one long edge.

With the filling applied, use the pizza cutter again to cut the wide, filled dough strip lengthwise into several narrower strips, approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch in width.

Take one of the narrow, filled dough strips and gently twist it along its length. Once twisted, coil the strip into a spiral shape to form a roll. Repeat this process with the remaining dough strips and filling.

Place the twisted and coiled rolls into the prepared baking dish. Arrange them closely together until the pan is filled.

Using a silicone brush, lightly brush the tops of the unbaked rolls with 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil or melted nondairy butter.

Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 200-210°F (93-99°C).

Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven. For extra shine and flavor, lightly brush the hot rolls again with a small amount of extra-virgin olive oil or melted nondairy butter.

Serve the Garlic Herb Twisted Rolls warm from the pan. Enjoy!
