Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add butter or cooking spray to lightly coat the pan.

Crack the 3 eggs into the hot skillet. Using a spatula, gently spread the eggs out evenly to form a large, thin omelet-like layer that covers most of the pan's surface.

Season the cooking eggs generously with black pepper.

Cook the eggs for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are about 80% set and the edges are firm but the center is still slightly moist.

While the eggs are still in the pan, place the two halves of an everything bagel, cut-side down, directly onto the cooking egg layer. Ensure they are spaced apart.

Using a large spatula, carefully flip the entire egg and bagel assembly over. The egg should now be on top of the bagel halves, with the cut-side of the bagels facing up.

Fold the sides of the egg inward, over the bagel halves, to create a neat, contained base for the sandwich fillings.

Place one slice of American cheese on one side of the folded egg (over one bagel half).

Place one cooked hash brown patty on the other side of the folded egg (over the other bagel half).

Add the cooked bacon pieces on top of the first slice of American cheese.

Place the second slice of American cheese on top of the bacon.

Generously drizzle ketchup over the hash brown patty and other fillings.

Using the spatula, carefully fold one half of the sandwich (e.g., the hash brown side) over the other half (the bacon and cheese side) to create a complete sandwich.

Gently press down on the folded sandwich with the spatula for about 30 seconds to allow the cheese to melt and the ingredients to heat through.

Remove the sandwich from the pan, cut it in half, and serve immediately.
