Cut the 5 chicken breasts into small, bite-sized pieces. Place the cut chicken into a medium-sized bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the chicken. Season generously with salt and pepper. Add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of onion powder, 1 tablespoon of paprika, and 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until the chicken is well coated with the seasonings.

Heat a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set aside on a plate.

While the chicken is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the 1 pound of fettuccine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

In the same pan used for the chicken (do not clean it, as the fond adds flavor), reduce the heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt. Add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour 1 cup of heavy cream into the pan, followed by 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Stir the sauce mixture well. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.

Add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the simmering sauce. Stir continuously until the Parmesan cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce in the pan. Return the cooked chicken pieces to the pan with the pasta and sauce. Mix all the ingredients together gently until the chicken and fettuccine are fully coated in the Alfredo sauce.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
