Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Evenly spread the 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese over the prepared parchment paper, forming a thin layer.

Using a mandolin, carefully slice the 3 medium brown onions as thinly as possible into rings.

Arrange the thinly sliced onion rings in a single layer on top of the grated Parmesan cheese, ensuring they cover the cheese as much as possible.

Season the onion rings generously with your seasonings of choice. For example, sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, and a little salt.

Lightly spray the seasoned onion rings with avocado oil cooking spray.

Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Let the onion rings cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, carefully remove the onion rings from the parchment paper. They may still be slightly pliable at this stage.

Transfer the onion rings to a wire rack to cool completely. They will crisp up significantly as they cool.
