In a large bowl, combine the trimmed asparagus, olive oil, minced garlic, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Toss gently until the asparagus is evenly coated.

Spread the seasoned asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure there's enough space between the spears for even roasting.

Roast for 10 minutes. Then, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the asparagus.
