Add the coconut water, fresh spinach, frozen pineapple chunks, peeled and chopped fresh ginger, freshly squeezed lime juice, and chia seeds into a high-speed blender.

If desired, add the optional honey or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness.

Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more coconut water, 1/4 cup at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.

Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed by adding more honey/maple syrup or lime juice.
