In a medium bowl, place the 500 grams of lean beef mince.

Season the mince generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder according to your preference.

Using your hands, mix the seasoned mince thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the patties tough.

Divide the mince mixture into four equal portions and form them into patties, approximately 1.5-2 cm thick.

Heat a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the patties into the pan.

Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or adjust cooking time to your preferred level of doneness.

Once the patties are cooked to your liking, place one cheese slice on top of each patty.

Cover the pan with a lid and allow the cheese to melt for about 1-2 minutes.

Carefully remove the cheese-topped patties from the pan and set them aside.

Prepare four individual serving bowls. In each bowl, create a base layer with chopped lettuce.

Evenly distribute the sliced tomato and sliced red onion over the lettuce in each bowl.

Add the sliced pickles to each bowl, arranging them alongside the other vegetables.

Place one cooked patty with melted cheese on top of the vegetables in each bowl.

Finish each burger bowl with a generous drizzle of burger sauce.
