Preheat the oven to 325°F.

Add the chuck roast, sliced yellow onion, peeled garlic cloves, beef bone broth, and 1/2 cup of Bachan's Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce to a Dutch oven.

Mix all ingredients well, ensuring the chuck roast is thoroughly coated with the sauce and broth.

Cover the Dutch oven and bake for approximately 4 hours, or until the beef is incredibly tender and shreds easily with a fork.

Carefully remove the Dutch oven from the oven. Skim off any excess fat from the surface of the braising liquid.

Remove the chuck roast from the Dutch oven and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded beef to the Dutch oven and mix it with the braising juices.

Taste the shredded beef. If you desire a stronger Japanese BBQ flavor, stir in an additional 2 to 3 tablespoons of Bachan's Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce.

Serve the Japanese BBQ chuck roast over a bed of cooked jasmine rice. Garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice from lime wedges, if desired.
