Place a large metal mesh infuser ball into a large pot.

Add the roughly chopped garlic, sliced lemon, roughly chopped parsley, roughly chopped red onion, and roughly chopped jalapeno directly into the pot around the infuser ball.

Pour 1 cup of white wine into the pot. Fill the remaining space in the pot with water until the aromatics are submerged and there's enough liquid for the seafood.

Cover the pot with a lid and bring the liquid to a rolling boil over high heat.

Once the pot is boiling, carefully add all the seafood: shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, scallops, and oysters.

Cover the pot again with the lid and cook for 5 minutes, or until the mussels and clams have opened and the other seafood is cooked through.

After 5 minutes, remove the lid and add 2 tablespoons of butter to the pot, stirring gently until melted.

The seafood and flavorful broth are ready to be served immediately. Discard any mussels or clams that did not open.
