In a large bowl, combine the 200 grams of softened butter and 100 grams of sugar. Beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy.

Add the 2 eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition until well incorporated.

Sift the 200 grams of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder into the wet ingredients. Pour in the 100 ml of milk. Mix all the ingredients together until they are just combined, being careful not to overmix the batter.

Take the 3 to 4 peaches, peel them, and remove their pits. Slice the peeled peaches into thin wedges.

Grease a baking pan (approximately 20-23cm in diameter). Pour the prepared cake batter into the greased pan and spread it evenly across the bottom.

Arrange the sliced peach wedges decoratively on top of the batter. Evenly sprinkle the 1 tablespoon of sugar over the peaches.

Cut the 20 grams of butter into small cubes and scatter these butter pieces over the peaches and sugar.

Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes, or until it is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool down slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
