Prepare the pork ribs by carefully removing the tough membrane from the bone-side. To do this, lift an edge of the membrane with your fingers, then use a paper towel for a firm grip to pull it completely off the rack. Once the membrane is removed, cut the full rack into 4-6 smaller, more manageable sections.

Lightly rub all sides of the rib sections with vegetable oil. Generously season each piece on both sides with the BBQ dry rub, ensuring an even coating.

Arrange the seasoned rib pieces in your slow cooker, stacking them bone-side down if necessary. Cook on the low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on the high setting for 4 to 6 hours, until the ribs are very tender and easily pull apart.

Once cooked, carefully remove the tender ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet. Preheat your oven broiler. Generously coat the ribs with BBQ sauce using a basting brush.

Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and broil for approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Watch the ribs closely during this stage to prevent burning, as the BBQ sauce can caramelize quickly. The goal is a sticky, glossy glaze.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately. The ribs should be extremely tender, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone.
