Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Once fully browned, drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped yellow onion to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the onion has softened.

Stir in the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to combine all the seasonings with the beef and onion mixture. Remove from heat.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles. Place one slice of American cheese on the wider end of each dough triangle. Spoon a generous amount of the cheeseburger filling (about 2 tablespoons) over the cheese.

Starting from the wider end, tightly roll up each crescent dough triangle to encase the filling. Place the assembled rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley. Mix well.

Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the top of each cheeseburger roll.

Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or chives, if desired. Serve warm with your favorite creamy dipping sauce.
