Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add the ground turkey to the skillet with the onions. Break up the turkey with a spoon and season generously with paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

Drain any excess fat from the skillet. Stir in the taco seasoning packet and 1/4 cup of water. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring, until the liquid has reduced and the turkey is well coated with the seasoning.

While the turkey is cooking, pour the entire jar of Tostitos Salsa Con Queso into a small saucepan. Add the two slices of pepper jack cheese and 1/4 cup of half & half.

Heat the cheese sauce mixture over medium-low heat, stirring continuously, until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth and thick. Do not let it boil.

To assemble the nachos, spread a generous layer of Doritos on a large serving plate or platter.

Spoon a layer of the prepared cheese sauce over the Doritos.

Spoon a layer of the seasoned ground turkey mixture over the cheese sauce.

Sprinkle shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and diced onions over the ground turkey.

Distribute the La Costena jalapeño nacho slices generously over the toppings.

Add another layer of cheese sauce, followed by another layer of ground turkey, if desired, for extra loaded nachos.

Finish with a large dollop of sour cream on top of the nachos. Serve immediately and enjoy!
