Add the frozen mixed berries to a medium saucepan.

Pour 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice over the berries in the saucepan.

Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to the saucepan with the berries and lemon juice.

Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally, allowing the berries to thaw and begin to break down, releasing their juices. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens slightly and the berries are soft, about 7-8 minutes.
