Cut a watermelon into chunks.

Place the watermelon chunks into a blender. Blend until smooth to create watermelon juice.

Strain the blended watermelon juice through a sieve into a bowl to remove any pulp or seeds.

Take a serving glass. Add a handful of fresh mint leaves to the bottom of the glass.

Add several slices of lime to the glass.

Add granulated sugar to the glass (amount to taste, or based on visual estimation, approximately 1-2 tablespoons).

Using a muddler, muddle the mint leaves, lime slices, and sugar together in the glass. Muddle well to release the flavors from the mint and lime.

Fill the glass generously with ice cubes.

Pour the strained watermelon juice over the ice in the glass, filling it about two-thirds of the way.

Top off the drink with sparkling water or soda water.

Gently stir the drink to combine all ingredients.

Garnish the watermelon mojito with a fresh mint sprig and an additional slice of lime or a small watermelon wedge before serving.
