Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until well combined and smooth.

Spread the brownie mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 16 to 17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (the brownies should still be slightly gooey).

Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for about 20 minutes.

While the brownies are cooling, puree 4 of the peach slices in a food processor until smooth.

In a separate bowl, combine the peach puree and 1 cup of confectioners sugar. Mix until smooth, adding additional confectioners sugar as necessary to achieve a glaze-like consistency.

Once the brownies have cooled for 20 minutes, spread the peach glaze evenly over the top. Let the brownies stand at room temperature until completely cooled.

Cut the cooled brownies into 12 squares. Place 1 of the remaining peach slices on top of each brownie square.

Refrigerate the brownies until ready to serve.
