Combine the chopped fresh pineapple, peeled and roughly chopped ginger, freshly squeezed lemon juice, filtered water, and optional honey (or maple syrup), ground turmeric, and black pepper into a high-speed blender.

Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and no large chunks remain. This may take 2-3 minutes, depending on your blender.

Place a fine-mesh sieve or a nut milk bag over a large pitcher or bowl. Carefully pour the blended mixture through the sieve or bag, pressing down on the solids with a spoon or squeezing the bag to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the pulp.

Serve the pineapple-ginger elixir immediately over ice, or chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for a colder, more refreshing experience. Stir well before serving if it has been chilled.
