Place the salmon cubes in a bowl or a zip-top bag and pour over the Soyaki sauce or teriyaki sauce. Marinate for 15 minutes while you prepare the salad. If marinating longer, refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F or your regular oven to broil.

Arrange the salmon in a single layer, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, in a parchment-lined air fryer basket (you can work in batches if needed). Air fry for about 10 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and lightly caramelized around the edges.

If using an oven, arrange the salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and broil on the top rack for 7-10 minutes, checking frequently to avoid burning.

While the salmon cooks, make the salad. In a medium bowl, combine the shelled edamame, diced avocado, diced Persian cucumbers, and thinly sliced green onions.

In a small bowl, whisk together the reduced sodium soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and honey.

Pour the prepared dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine.

To serve, divide the steamed rice among 4 bowls. Top with the cooked salmon and the avocado edamame salad. Sprinkle with extra sesame seeds and additional green onions and a drizzle of soy sauce or sriracha if desired.
