In a large bowl, combine the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure all the sprouts are evenly coated.

Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are not overcrowded, as this will prevent them from crisping properly. If necessary, use two baking sheets.

Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender-crisp and deeply caramelized on the edges. Halfway through cooking (around 10-12 minutes), remove the baking sheet from the oven and toss the sprouts to ensure even browning.

Once roasted, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
