Pour a large quantity of ridged potato chips into a wide, shallow serving bowl, filling the bowl about halfway to create the base for the nachos.

Open the bag of pre-cut romaine lettuce from the Caesar salad mix kit and transfer the lettuce into a separate metal mixing bowl.

Open the packet of Caesar dressing provided with the salad mix and squeeze the entire contents over the lettuce in the metal bowl.

Using tongs or a spatula, gently toss the lettuce and dressing together until the lettuce is evenly coated.

Grind a small amount of fresh black pepper over the dressed salad. Toss the salad again briefly to distribute the pepper evenly.
