Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and packed brown sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture. Continue mixing with the electric mixer until all ingredients are well combined.

In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed with the electric mixer until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the dough.

Pour in both the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the milk chocolate chips. Gently fold them into the cookie dough using a spatula until evenly distributed.

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.

Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are just set.

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
