Finely mince 2 cloves of garlic.

To make chopping easier, roll the fresh chives, curly parsley, and fresh dill tightly in a damp paper towel. Wet the paper towel and then unroll the herbs. Finely mince 3 tablespoons of each herb.

In a medium-sized container or bowl, combine the 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1/4 cup sour cream, and 1/4 cup mayonnaise.

Squeeze the juice from 1/2 a lemon directly into the wet ingredient mixture.

Add the 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder and 1/4 teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper to the mixture.

Stir in the minced garlic and all of the minced fresh herbs (chives, parsley, and dill).

Add kosher salt to taste. The chef recommends a little shy of a tablespoon, but adjust according to your preference. Stir well to combine all ingredients until smooth and thoroughly mixed.

Serve immediately or refrigerate for flavors to meld further. This dressing is excellent on salads, as a dip for vegetables, or with chicken wings.
