Fill a very large stockpot with 1 gallon of water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat.

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the scrubbed yellow potatoes to the pot. Cook for 8 minutes.

Add the corn on the cob pieces and sliced smoked sausage to the pot with the potatoes. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes.

Add the frozen crab to the pot with the other ingredients. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the crab is heated through and the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.

While the boil is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a separate medium-sized bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, and Louisiana Hot Sauce. Add 1/4 cup of water and stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the sauce is smooth.

Once the crab, potatoes, corn, and sausage are cooked, carefully drain all the water from the pot.

Immediately pour the prepared butter and seasoning sauce directly over the cooked ingredients in the pot.

Using large tongs or a sturdy spoon, stir vigorously to ensure all the crab, potatoes, corn, and sausage are thoroughly coated with the sauce.

Transfer the crab boil to a large serving tray or platter and serve immediately.
