Roughly chop the 4-5 cloves of garlic and 2-3 red chilies. Transfer the chopped garlic and chilies into a mortar. Using a pestle, pound them together until a coarse paste forms.

In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir the mixture well until the sugar has dissolved completely.

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, crack one egg into the pan and fry it until the edges are crispy and golden brown, and the yolk is still runny. Remove the fried egg from the pan and set it aside.

Add a bit more oil to the same pan, if necessary. Add the prepared chili-garlic paste to the hot oil. Stir-fry for approximately 10 seconds until the paste becomes fragrant.

Add the 250 grams of pork mince to the pan. Use a spatula to break up the mince and cook it thoroughly until it is browned and fully cooked through.

Introduce the chopped long beans to the pan. Continue to stir-fry for 1 minute to allow them to cook slightly.

Pour the pre-mixed sauce from step 2 into the pan with the pork and vegetables. Stir everything together thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are coated evenly with the sauce.

Add the large bunch of holy basil leaves to the stir-fry. Stir just until the basil leaves wilt, integrating their flavor into the dish.

Transfer the finished Pad Kra Pao stir-fry onto a serving plate, ideally over a bed of rice. Top the stir-fry with the previously fried crispy egg. Optionally, garnish with additional fresh basil leaves or sliced chilies.
