Toast the whole grain bread slices to your desired crispness. This can be done in a toaster, toaster oven, or a pan.

While the toast is cooking, prepare the toppings. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice or mash the avocado.

Once the toast is ready, spread 1/4 cup of cottage cheese evenly over each slice.

Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced or mashed avocado on top of the cottage cheese.

Sprinkle each toast with 1/4 teaspoon of everything bagel seasoning, a pinch of red pepper flakes (if using), and freshly ground black pepper and sea salt to taste.
