Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

In a small bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter, finely minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to create the garlic butter mixture.

Prepare the bread by making deep slices across its width, about 1 inch apart, without cutting all the way through the bottom crust. Then, make similar deep slices lengthwise, also without cutting through the bottom, to create a crosshatch or grid pattern. This will allow the bread to be easily pulled apart.

Gently pull apart the sections of the bread loaf. Generously brush or spoon the garlic butter mixture into all the crevices and cuts, ensuring every part is coated.

In a medium bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Evenly distribute the shredded cheese mixture into all the cuts and over the top of the bread, making sure it gets down into the garlic butter-coated crevices.

Place the stuffed bread on the prepared baking sheet. Loosely cover the bread with aluminum foil to prevent the cheese and garlic from burning.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is mostly melted and the bread is heated through.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the bread crust is slightly crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly for 5 minutes before serving. The bread can be pulled apart at the table.
