Chop the 4 cloves of garlic, 1 onion, a handful of parsley, and a handful of fresh basil. Set aside.

Heat a good amount of olive oil in a large pot.

Add the pork ribs to the pot and brown them on all sides. Once browned, remove the ribs from the pot and set them aside.

Add the sausage links to the same pot and brown them on all sides. Once browned, remove the sausage from the pot and set aside.

Add the 1 kg ground beef to the pot. Break up the beef with a utensil and brown it thoroughly. Drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion to the pot with the browned ground beef. Cook until the onion is softened.

Add the chopped garlic to the pot and cook for approximately one minute until fragrant.

Stir in the 1 can of tomato paste and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, allowing it to deepen in color.

Add a good splash of wine to deglaze the pot, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

Add the 1 can of crushed tomatoes to the pot.

Add the 1 can of peeled tomatoes, crushing them with your hands directly into the pot.

Rinse out each empty tomato can with some water and add this water to the pot to ensure all tomato residue is incorporated.

Return the browned pork ribs and sausage links to the pot.

Season the sauce with a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

Stir all the ingredients together thoroughly.

Add the chopped fresh basil and chopped parsley to the sauce. Stir again.

Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low.

Cover the pot and let the sauce cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

Serve the finished "Godfather's Sauce" with your favorite pasta, such as spaghetti, and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
