Slice the chicken breast into strips. In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Mix well to ensure the chicken is thoroughly coated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of chili oil, 1/2 cup of chicken broth, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch until all ingredients are well combined.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the 200 grams of chow mein noodles to the boiling water and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain the noodles and set them aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok over high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until it turns golden brown. Remove the cooked chicken from the wok and set it aside.

In the same wok with the remaining oil, add the 1/2 sliced onion, 1/2 diced red bell pepper, and 2 chopped spring onions. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.

Return the cooked noodles and cooked chicken to the wok with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over all the ingredients. Stir-fry everything together for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and evenly coats all the ingredients.

Transfer the General Tso Chicken Chow Mein to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
